Thor Guesses

So here is the continuation of the movie list!

Summer Movie List

4. Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters
5. Sherlock Holmes
6. Second Chances
7. Thor: The Dark World

As a warning for anyone who hasn't yet watched the new Thor the following sentences will be spoilers.  I have watched Thor (as you know) and I have a few guesses as to what's going to happen in the next movie.

1. Thor will be forced to receive the crown even though he doesn't want it from his brother Loki.
2.  Loki killed Odin. (This one isn't really a guess for the next Thor movie it's more like a guess for what happened in the last one)
3. There will be more than one villain.
4. By forcing Thor to become king of Asgard he will be forced to leave Jane behind.

I have noticed for a long time that superheroes are always forced give up the one they love. Batman was forced to give up his sweetheart as well as Hulk for the greater good and that really sucks. I believe that everyone even superheroes deserves to be happy, as sappy as that sounds. Maybe the universe just doesn't like superheroes.

So as an conclusion I am a Negative Nancy, but I hope that none of my pestimistic guesses proves true. Except maybe the multiple villains one because that would actually make for a pretty awesome movie. :)

Movie Viewing List

Hey guys I'm back with another exciting entry about my exciting life! I have decided that I am going to write a list of all the movies I've watched over the Summer. Sort of like a Summer Reading list, but a little bit cooler. Don't diss the Summer Reading list though. I am starting one. All I have to do is get over my deadly ailment, laziness and get started. Anyway here goes.

Movie Viewing List
1: Dad's Home
2:  The Big Wedding
3: Satisfaction

I know it's short so far, but trust me it will turn into a pretty impressive list soon. I am currently watching Sherlock Holmes and have about a million more recorded that will definitely make it to the list so it will be awesome. I know some of you don't care.

The last movie on my list Satisfaction a movie from the 80's I recommend watching. It's a great movie filled with romance, music and summer. It's one of those movies where a summer changes everything. I know that sounds lame, but even that common cliche that we see all the time in the plot lines of movies didn't make the movie any less enjoyable. If you think about we are all suckers of the cliche. We watch movies all the time that has the same tired plot lines, but we still enjoy it, because the writer finds a way to make it original.

Satisfaction is also where I got a lot of songs that I either forgot about and was reminded how cool they were or I didn't know existed in the first place and thought it was cool. That actually happens a lot when I'm watching movies. I'll be watching a movie and suddenly this really cool song comes on and bam I love it and try my dardest to remember it. I bet you people out in the Internet universe do that too. If you do coots to you, and if you don't you should try it. It's a great way to get new songs to add to your collection. :)

Block Parties and Pie Ladies

Hey folks, happy Father's Day! Sorry for not blogging yesterday. My family and I had a kind of ....block party. Sort of. My family and I with two of our neighbors and their families took our grills to the front of our driveways and just grilled. We could invite anyone we wanted, and could even try each other's food. It was very old school and very cool. I don't know about you, but that was a good way to spend a Saturday.

My front door neighbor even took us some desert. She is kind of like the unofficial pie lady of our street. She makes the best EVERYTHING. I'm not exaggerating either. She made a peach pie that was to die for, it was PERFECT. So all you pie lovers which is practically all of the US and then some, I send you a piece of virtual pie! Everyone likes apple right? :)

Internet Rant

Hey people of the Internet and beyond, I hope you had a good day. I had a....pretty good day, except that I'm frustrated with the Internet. I know what you guy will say. The internet? It's awesome. Without the internet we would be living in a world where we'd have to use typewriters to write our research papers and stories, but think about it. The internet is now just a giant money bag. I can't watch an episode of a show anymore without having to pay some random website. What happened to being able to watch movies and shows for free? Youtube used to be okay about this. You used to be able to watch most shows and movies, but now they're dismissing more and more and you can only watch a limited number . They already made most of the shows that I like disappear: Little House on the Prairie (don't judge me), Urusei Yatsura (in my opinion the best anime ever), and Maison Ikkou (anime from the same author as see before). I bet they took away shows that you guys liked too and did you notice the green little payment square? They seem to be showing up more and more. We actually have to pay Youtube to be able to watch what we want just like we do on those random websites. Well. I guess we have to rely on TV now.

But even the demand section on the TV is limited. It only shows the current season of the show you want to watch. They don't show the previous seasons. So you're out of luck if you wanted to watch an episode that's not on that recent season. I came across that problem as well.

Tell me this guys, am I off my rocker guys in thinking this is unfair? Should I just suck it up and get Netflix like a normal person? No. I don't think I'm crazy. I'm one of those people who like watching shows and movies on the Internet for free. You shouldn't have to pay anyone if you don't want to. Not Netflix, not Hulu Plus not even Disney Channel. You guys can believe it's unfair or think the opposite all I'm going by is my opinion and my opinion says this sucks.

So........ I guess that's it of my brilliant rant for today. Bye. :)

Oh and just to put a face to the title for those of you who don't know what the hell I'm talking about when I mentioned Urusei Yatsura and Maison Ikkoku here is a picture of some of the characters. Just so you can get a feel for the show.

Boring Days of Summer

Some people like staying at home and doing nothing. I am not one of those people.  I like going out and  looking at new surroundings. I like being able to go places. Unfortunately my being able to see new places depends on whether my parents feel like it since I can't drive.  Which I know is ridiculous because I'm of the age to drive. I SHOULD be able to drive now, but I can't. I blame laziness.

So I spent the entire day at my house doing nothing but watching TV and eating. I even took a nap ( I don't like taking naps) just for something to do. Then we do go out, we ended up just sitting in a parking lot for an hour and a half waiting for my brother to finish his Karate lesson. It was incredibly boring and we just went right back to the house after.

Maybe when I get older I'll understand my parents and their being content doing nothing, but right at this very moment I don't.

Anyway in conclusion I want to go out, my parents don't, and that sucks. Oh and I have something for you guys. I have to warn you it's kind of lame, but maybe it's lame enough to make you guys smile out there in the Internet world. I'm hoping for it. :)

In a survey most people assumed that Mitt Romney's first name was Mittens. His name is Willard.

Summer Intro

It is Summer folks! That means no teachers, homework or tests, just three months of television and whatever goals you thought up at the very start. Almost like New Years resolutions only for the Summer.

Summer also gives you a chance to catch up or even get into the shows that you were too busy to watch during the School year or that busy job. For example I am getting into the investigative drama/ comedy show called Bones and the comedy sitcom How I Met Your Mother. Both shows are absolutely awesome and I can't wait to spend the Summer watching it.

Of course for me  Summer is no longer about doing nothing. I've entered the You Still Have Work To Do Even Though It's Summer phase of my life. Which means I have about a many things that I have to do and want to do during the Summer so doing nothing isn't really in the cards for me. Though I will definitely put time aside to watch the millions of movies I've recorded and my new favorite show Bones. Best show EVER!!!!

So as a conclusion I encourage you guys out in the Internet world to achieve your Summer resolutions and to have an awesome Summer even if you still about a million things to do. :)
